Jujulipps, an artist born in South Africa, is generating a lot of buzz with the release of their new single and music video titled ‘Saucy’.

Jujulipps, a South African-born artist currently based in New Zealand, has just dropped her latest single ‘Saucy’ which is already creating a buzz. This up-and-coming rapper has been making waves in the rap scene in and around the city of Tāmaki Makaurau where she is based, and now she’s bringing her hot beats back home. With roots stretching across the African continent, including ancestral ties to Burundi and Congo, Jujulipps draws inspiration from the soulful sounds of Africa, the upbeat rhythms of Amapiano, and the powerful energy of hip-hop and afrobeat.

Jujulipps is proud of her heritage and her music is a celebration of the richness and vibrancy of her home continent. “As a child of the diaspora, my ultimate goal is to empower my listeners to feel good about themselves, recognize their worth, and to be proud of who they are, especially my fellow immigrants who now call Aotearoa (New Zealand) home,” she says.

‘Saucy’ is the first release off of Jujulipps’ upcoming EP Get That Shot, which is set to drop at the end of the year. Jujulipps has already performed at a series of events, including a national tour with Synthony, and stages at various New Zealand summer festivals, including Northern Bass, Cuba Dupa, Cross St. Festival, and a show for the cancelled 2023 Laneway Festival.
