Hip Hop artist from Eswatini (Swaziland) Malcolm.E has released his second EP project R.T.T (Rapper Turned Terminator). He says the objective of the 9 track project is to showcase his growth and hopefully inspire others to chase their dreams.
“Releasing the project R.T.T is definitely my proudest moment thus far. A lot of work was put into this project and I feel like it marks the beginning of a new me.”
Malcolm.E describes his sound as lyrical trap. He boasts a smooth base voice that sets him apart from current artists in the music circuit today and although he says he is not a singer he has found a way to distinctly incorporate vocal melodies in his music.
He continues to say he feels he has grown as an artist while working on this project and wanted to showcase the changes he has been going through in music and life in general.
“I believe that over the last 2 years I have grown into a different and more advanced artist, so when I was thinking of a name for my new project I wanted something that represented my growth as a person and as an artist. I then came up with Rapper Turned Terminator because I feel like I am transforming into a version of myself that is unstoppable and will fight to the end for what he loves.”
To interpret this transformation visually, he approached Christopher Masuabi AKA Plasmic Rapture; a highly talented South African concept artist and illustrator based in Cape Town to create his cover art.
Malcolm.E’s artist growth is so evident on this project from vocal plays to spitting some scorching bars. He has clearly defined his own wavelength with the music and we’re loving it! A must-hear…
R.T.T is available on all major digital streaming platforms.
