YoungstaCPT x Reebok: A Game-Changing Collab
Reebok has partnered with South African hip-hop powerhouse YoungstaCPT to deliver a sneaker that does more than complete an outfit, it tells a story. The Oh-Two-1 pays homage to Cape Town’s iconic 021, a city built on hustle, history, and unmatched cultural energy.
Every aspect of this limited-edition drop reflects Youngsta’s lived experience. Spray cans, taxis, Metrorail rides, cassette tapes, arcade buttons, washing lines, and even the legendary Gatsby, each illustrated element captures a piece of Cape Flats life. Designed by YoungstaCPT and brought to life visually by fellow Capetonian Ross Solomon, the artwork wraps the shoe in a collage of memories and moments that shaped one of SA’s most powerful voices.

The Oh-Two-1 uses the iconic Reebok Pump OmniZone silhouette, a classic reimagined through Cape Town’s eyes. The outsole draws inspiration from the city’s streets, while the orange-to-yellow gradient reflects the sun rising and setting over Table Mountain. Built with purpose in every stitch, panel, and texture, it embodies resilience and originality.
Only 500 pairs exist. Each one signed and numbered, packaged in a special collectors sleeve with a sticker sheet inspired by Youngsta’s mixtape legacy. It’s footwear turned into a personal archive, a celebration of heritage, pride, and the grind behind success.

For Youngsta, this collaboration represents a lifelong bond with the brand. “This shoe is living proof of perseverance,” he says. “It’s for the 021. For the people who turn struggle into greatness.”

Dropping October 31st at R3,999, the Oh-Two-1 will be available via Reebok.co.za, Reebok stores, and select retailers including Sportscene, Studio88, Shelflife, Sneakerdistrict, and Y?Gen. It also marks the next chapter in Reebok South Africa’s ongoing Pure Mzansi Gold series, a platform honoring creators who push culture forward.
Cape Town’s spirit now has a sneaker bold, rooted, and ready for the world.
