Lowfeye Named Apple Music Rap Life Africa Featured Artist
South African rising star Lowfeye continues to gain momentum as he has been named Apple Music’s Rap Life Africa featured artist for April, a major co-sign from one of the world’s leading music platforms.
The spotlight, led by Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop and R&B Ebro Darden alongside Nandi Madida, places a strong focus on Lowfeye’s standout single “Sosobala”, featuring Anzo and Danya Devs.
The track, lifted from his album NOSANGE, highlights Lowfeye’s sharp lyricism and confident delivery, blending hard-hitting production with authentic storytelling. The collaboration with Anzo and Danya Devs adds depth to the record, creating a sound that bridges heritage with modern hip-hop energy.
Beyond the single, NOSANGE represents a deeper artistic vision. The project explores themes of identity, ambition, and duality, combining cinematic production with introspective writing. Lucasraps Addresses Rumours, Blxckie Tension & Riky Rick Claims
South African rapper Lucasraps has broken his silence on the ongoing conversations surrounding his name, addressing rumours, his relationship with Blxckie, and claims involving the late Riky Rick.
Speaking on the topic, Lucasraps made it clear that the narrative circulating online does not reflect what actually happened. According to him, much of what is being said publicly is inaccurate and taken out of context.
He also touched on his relationship with Blxckie, explaining that from his understanding, the two were meant to be on good terms, especially during the 031 To The World era. His comments suggest that the current tension may not align with how things were originally perceived between them.
Addressing claims that Riky Rick may have spoken negatively about him, Lucasraps questioned the validity of those statements. He revealed that he had a song with Riky Rick and had seen him before his passing, making it difficult for him to believe that there were any underlying issues.
The rapper’s response adds another layer to an already complex situation, offering his perspective on events that have been widely discussed within the South African hip hop community. As conversations continue, his comments provide insight into how he views both the rumours and the relationships involved.
