Every generation births a star that will be the voice for many and in this case, Nsikayesizwe David Ngcobo, better known by his stage name Nasty C, is exactly that. The Multi-award winning South African rapper originates from Durban in the KwaZulu- Natal Province and has been dubbed the coolest kid in Africa. He takes his role seriously saying, “I never chase the dream, I design it.” 2022 ushered in a new era one in which Nasty C partnered and became the face of Johnny Walker.
This all started with Nasty C’s ‘freestyle’ on Tbo Touch’s show on Metro FM. The superstar has now dropped the song titled ‘No Big Deal’. Nasty C opens his verse by sharing details of his relationship with Sarkodie. “When I first met Sarkodie, he wouldn’t shake my hand. Cool. I’m not too proud to say I’m still a fan. But I held a grudge and told myself to wait till I’m the man.”
In the ‘No Big Deal – freestyle’, Nasty C took that opportunity open up about his so-called beef with A-Reece. The rapper said that there had never been animosity between him and the Paradise hitmaker and that he had made efforts to mend fences with him.
Although it may sound like a ‘diss track’, Nasty C mentions in the lyrics of the song that he meant no malice, he is just getting some things off his chest. The rapper opens up about quite a couple of things that he has been bottling up for a long time and consistently maintains that he means no malice in his words, but he felt it is things that he needed to just clear up.
