Siviwe Drops New ‘Rich Mnisi’ [Listen]

The song is a love letter to RICH MNISI – a brand that inspires us all to work hard and dream big. I wrote the song from the perspective of how it feels to finally be able to buy yourself an item of RICH MNISI clothing. You no longer feel like an imposter. You feel like you’re wearing R2 million. You feel like nothing and nobody can touch you or bring you down because you’ve made it in life. That’s the feeling that RICH MNISI inspires in me and so many people around the world.

The tone of the song is playful and light hearted. In the song, I name drop some of South Africa’s most beloved celebrities who inspire the same aspirational feeling as RICH MNISI. I wanted to write a song that celebrates some of South Africa’s most iconic celebrities who have made it in life, and in doing so, have inspired us all to work hard so that we too, in our own unique way, can realise our full potential.
