In a star-studded launch of the brand new flagship Sportscene store in Sandton City, Lucas Raps was announced as the winner of the Sportscene X Puma Put Me On competition. His fast-paced lyrical ingenuity saw him beat out thousands of competitors to claim the top prize of getting the ultimate kick-start to his musical career: a song produced by the hit-maker Gemini Major and a music video by Nate Thomas who has directed for industry giants such as AKA, Cassper and Shekinah. “We chose Lucas as a finalist because first and foremost the public clearly showed their love for the artist, his on stage presence is also super impressive and shows confidence far beyond his experience. We look forward to working with him on this project and watching his career take a crazy jump.
