By combining the influence of celebrities, financial experts, and strong brand collaborations, we aim to change mindsets and shape the thinking of future talent and South Africans towards sound financial management. Financial wokeness is the new vibe!
Cassper Nyovest has personally curated a panel of industry experts and local groundbreakers like DJ Zinhle and Oskido to inspire, provide insights, and educate attendees on financial literacy. The workshop will take place at the heart of Soweto, at the iconic KONKA venue, on 24th June 2023 from 09H00.
When asked about the campaign’s significance, Cassper Nyovest (Curator and host of Secure the bag) said, “The lack of financial wellness and management among artists has always been a topic of conversation and criticism. I wanted to create a platform where I could engage my peers and partners who have achieved long-term financial success and stability, and have an open discussion about how they’ve done it. I want attendees to leave the workshop enlightened on how to manage their finances, whether they’re aspiring artists or business owners.”
The workshop provides an opportunity to interact with experts, fostering thoughtful leadership as they share knowledge and skills on relevant topics. “Secure the bag with Cassper Nyovest” is an invitation to ambitious youth who may lack financial literacy in certain areas of their businesses, offering practical solutions to enhance their portfolios.
