SOME IDIOT BREAKS INTO THE MUSIC SCENE WITH HIP HOP BANGER, “NAMBA”

As we approach the festive season, thanksgiving and a time for reunion with
family, many may find themselves taking on the long journey of reminiscing about
their lives and all that they have overcome this year.

SomeIdiot, an idea of a creative collective, whose aim is to impart a sense of
flamboyant music and artistic expression, brought into the lab some of our local
favourites to create an earth-shaking echo of hope through song. “Namba,” which
loosely translates “hit song” in tsotsi taal features talented songstress La Sauce,
umfana ka aunty, KiD X & production duo, Audio Addicts.

The powerful message that pierces through the speakers is accompanied by a
thumping log drum as it aims to take you from the beginning until the end feeling
nothing but gratitude for all that you’ve triumphed over. This bop which is for the
Amapiano, Afro-pop and Hip-Hop lover is destined to make deep thought a

pleasurable experience as people head back home to be with their people and
close of the year.
It is definitely one for the masses!
“Namba” is an ode that says we’re grateful to God and our ancestors for all the
success, prosperity and joy that we’ve welcomed after the storms this year.
