The street culture connoisseur, Okmalumkoolkat has not released an album, since the 2018 classic Mlazi Milano. He has since then continued to grow and expand his interests in the culture through fashion and merchandise. Which has then go on to assist in the creative process of the long awaited album, uShukela eTyeni.
Through the success of his previous work and projects, Don Spovington was still shown love and support by many, even through the tough times of the pandemic. Okmalumkoolkat has thanked his supports all over the world, as he started the roll out of this much anticipated album, uShukela eTiyeni, with the release of uThando to the T, showcasing the love he has felt around him.
Honouring his fans and giving a platform to new talent, Mr Mlazi Milano finally releases the much anticipated and years in the making, uShukela eTiyeni. The 18- Track album shows off his broad range in art & culture and continues to set the bar at the top for the street culture, with the effortless style and sound.

Following the success of his most popular Zulu ballad ‘Amalobolo’, Okmalumkoolkat brings us another slow jam, it features the sultry vocals of Debra Nist. The track centres around the real happenings of a genuine and real love story, he talks about his love for this woman who’s been with him through different stages in his life. The track documents the evolution of their love.
Uthando to the T is a track that can cut across multiple playlists, it can feature in both a Chilled R&B playlist and similarly also feature in a Chill Rap playlist. It is not your typical love song, it has unique local elements and it captures the beauty and essence of ‘black love’. It has been dubbed by some of his fans as’ Amalobolo Vol.2’
