After teasing this drop off last week, Venom and Shishiliza have finally dropped off their new single and first 2022 offering called ‘Sondela’. The song features Riky Rick, Blxckie, Raspy, Tshego and Yumbs coming together to deliver what can be considered a love song… Sonically the song carries some amapiano aesthetics with intimates lyrics which not only makes it a perfect for Valentine’s Day vibes but also dance ones… The combination of all artist involved here doesn’t feel too much or overwhelming which is a feeling that can be evoked when many are involved but instead everyone brings in a part of them to offer something new and sweet. Performance-wise, besides Riky’s raps, every other delivery croons… This song is Venom and Shishiliza’s second single released as a collective because back in 2021 they dropped ‘Sho Boy’ as a start-up to what will eventually become a collaborative project.
