MSHOLOZIKAZI, BASSIE DROPS NGIYAZIFELA MUSIC VIDEO FEATURING TYLER I.C.U AND KAYGEE THE VIBE

Johannesburg, South Africa – Thursday, 28 October 2021 – Msholozikazi, Bassie releases the visuals for Ngiyaz’fela, featuring Tyler I.C.U & Kaygee the Vibe.

Eastrand native, Bassie is currently riding on a musical high with the build-up to her upcoming album. The soulful Amapiano vocalist has given women the soundtrack to their lived experiences and relationship journeys. With songs such as Amandla, Udladla Ngam and iPlan garnering popularity with the masses.

Now Bassie marks another milestone as she releases her first lead music video of her radio charting song, Ngiyaz’fela. The single is the heartbreak anthem for anyone who has been betrayed by a lover and a friend.

The Ngiyazifela music video was directed by Sponch Makhekhe and Uyajola 9/9-esque narrative filled with touching and comical moments. Borrowed from the theme explored in the lyrics of the song, the music video personifies the narrative.

Bassie leads the story as the “official” girlfriend who confides in her friend about her man’s misgivings. Only to later find out that the friend is the reason for her misgivings. A comical confrontation takes place, and Bassie only finds more disappointment when attempting to move on from her cheating boyfriend.

The music video is a team effort as Tyler I.C.U and Kaygee the Vibe ditch their headphones and showcase their acting skills as the supporting leads of the music video.

The single is available on YouTube Now. Click here.

About Ngiyaz’fela:

Bassie on Ngiyazifela details the realities of being in a toxic relationship. The musician begins the song by explaining how when her partner is up on his luck she never gets to see him. Moreover, that despite having literally begged on her knees for her lover’s interest, he has not changed. But has actually started cheating on her with her friend.

On production, Tyler I.C.U and Kaygee the Vibe, produce a contemporary Amapiano meant-for-the-dance-floor single. This is as the track’s progression is aimed at building the song to its crescendo and just when the song begins to descend into its outro. The two producer-DJs added a surprise additional peak to the single.
