Notshi takes it back to RAP with “8TAH” for the Summer

Born Kabelo Oageng, the MoTswana rapper Notshi has proven that he is a force to be reckoned with. Hailing from the small township of Itsoseng situated next to the city of Mafikeng in the North West Province of South Africa.

With the release of 8TAH Notshi is taking it back to rap whist reminding his fans of what he is made of. 8TAH has an old school, raw Motswako sound mixed with straight up rap. The punchlines are crazy and the hook is catchy. Notshi just wants to claim his spot back in the game as well as make a statement.

“I want people to just let the song sink in as I know a lot from old age, to the young ones will relate to the lyrics. Im taking people back to when Hip hop wasn’t a big thing in South Africa with a fusion of well known struggle song/ slogan of years before Democracy.” Notshi

8TAH  was produced by a young talented individual from The North West called Larley.“We met at a Gigg where I was performing. He asked to send me a few beats, I gave him a chance and he blessed me with this production…” Notshi

8TAH is not only for the hip hop heads because you can definitely still bump it in the club or anywhere because it’s got that vibe beat.

“After this joint I will be dropping another single in a few months, followed by a full body of work. Aint no slowing down from here onwards….” Notshi

“8TAH” IS OUT NOW
