On Thursday Jabulani Hadebe said that he has decided to make the video to explain a lot of things happening in his life that you have been reading about “The reason for my silence is that we were told not to speak about the case on Twitter and the media. I’ve noticed my silence left people confused so this video is for clarity,” said Jabulani Hadebe. Jabulani Hadebe said he met Lady Zamar in 2017, told her he does have a girlfriend and she understood – but as time went on, he was asked to choose between Lady Zamar and his girlfriend.
Apparently, the relationship defeated him because he is focusing on his music career to feed his family, of which he cannot now as he is being cancelled all over the place due to the rape allegations.
“What caused the issues is that I don’t have time and the fact that I have a girlfriend. I have seen people talking saying I am married but I am not. I have never got married before. I’ve seen stories saying I am must support a child and I don’t have a child at all,” explained Jabulani Hadebe.
Jabulani Hadebe said that what puts them in this situation is what happened on stage at the Sun Arena.
“She felt disrespected, embarrassed, and I would like to apologize for that. I am sorry for that. I am sorry that she found herself in an embarrassing situation… People telling her that she’s dating a married man… that has caused frustrations to her and I understand,” said Jabulani Hadebe.
Jabulani Hadebe said that he is sorry for not loving Lady Zamar the way she wished he could.
“When it comes to rape, I don’t remember her telling me there was a problem in communicating with me. We have been in love and she has never told me about rape. All my life I have been fighting abuse. It’s sad that I’ve been creating awareness about rape/abuse but in the end, I am the rapist – that’s very hurtful,” expressed Jabulani Hadebe.
Jabulani Hadebe said that he apologizes for any wrongdoing he might have caused, but the rape is something he did not do or done before to any of his girlfriends.
He also confirmed that he opened a case of defamation against Lady Zamar after she accused him of the alleged rape and abuse on Twitter.
Jabulani Hadebe also said that his efforts to solve the matter are not coming to success because of South African Police Service and Lady Zamar’s legal team as they are not cooperative.
Jabulani Hadebe hopes that Lady Zamar will find it in her heart to forgive him.
