Darse Mayne Releases New EP Titled #NeverToldALie

Darse Mayne as shared his new Mixtape Never Told A Lie (NTAL) via Breauz Records. This will be the second mixtape from Darse. In a world that is recovering from its worst of times the Young Rapprer-songwriter delivers a EP with all kinds of emotions for his fans to relate to, showcasing his growth as both an artist and a man – gone are the days of “Whole Life”. Alongside the mixtape release, Darse is yet to share a new music video for “Switch” and announces release of the NEVER TOLD A LIE EP, With the mixtape executively produced by Darse Mayne, CHR$, Ram$ey “King Jo” Da$h and Lawrence “O.T” Ntsoane with production from CHRS, Tsara, Sick Beat, Wave Dave and Darse Mayne. The Mixtape features label mate Okay Potato and guests like Wave Dave, 1Zeal and 90three. The highly anticipated 11-track mixtape pays respects to Darse Mayne new found rap technique while making clear that his sound is ever-evolving.

Darse Mayne is a 19-year old Nigerian native, who smashed onto the scene two years ago with his debut mixtape “Vacation”. The sound of his debut mixtape was soft and timid as then 17-year old was finding his tune. In the months that followed he featured on several newspaper and magazine article. Highlights are Hype Magazine and Zkhiphani in South Africa. He got play listed on several foreign online radio stations, got play listed on Metro FM and scored him an interview on Rashid Kay and Oskido’s hip-hop Show on Metro FM and recently linked with the likes of SlikourOnLife (whom radio skit is on the mixtape) and Smashafrica on 5FM for the premier listening of “city revival” and “switch” respectively. The Tape is not only about progression in his life and mind-set but also musically (he has studied piano and drums an adult) with more intention put into his craft than ever before.
