After the release of his lead song “Floorless“, Mikey Nu set out to build up his following by making as much noise as possible on social media with his animated style visuals and banger tunes. “I believe that if my music reaches the right ears, it will market itself. The only issue is that in South Africa if you’re not on TV, nor radio, no one will take you seriously. This forced me to adapt and put my all into the music I make, for it to stand out from what is known as standard on social media platforms”.
