Rael, A Pretoria singer/songwriter real name Mahlatse Mabulane, the singers aim is to use
her voice as an instrument by stretching out her backing vocals and sometimes her main
vocal in a very ambient manner, this effect giving the listener a 3 D musical effect, this sound
is explored on both her newer EP’s.

Rael started singing in 2018 having always loved music but she explored it further when she
got vocal lessons.
In 2019 she teamed up with Frieze Smoke and her 2nd EP “Prayers” was born, having
previously released “Drive X Intimacy”, she followed up with her 3rd EP “Of Mud and Clay”
teaming up with her long time collaborator Frieze Smoke and Tag teaming up with TYFAM
(Tell Your Friends About Me).
Her focal subject on the last 2 EP’s has been love, expressing her love for loving and
showing us that love songs can be cool her latest single “Sober” defines that.
