It has been a while since Micah Da Music has been releasing hit singles, it was a build up to his Mixtape called Room for Improvement. The setbacks hitmaker had announced that he is releasing a full body project through his social media accounts where many of his supporters congratulated him, some saying they have been waiting.
The Mixtape features songs like setbacks which had trended on South African Twitter at number 2 a week prior to its release, after few days it was already on HYPE MAGAZINE Music top 20 charts. Even though the song was made for the streets it had some radio airplays and scored the versatile musician some interviews. Room for Improvement also feature the commercial successful Micah Da Music’s hit song called Blessings in which he has featured TSHIMA Award winner Kashflow Toofab, the single had sat at number 6 on Google Play Music South African Hip Hop/Rap Charts just below Nasty C’s SMA and AKA’s hit single Jika. This project is all that a Rapper who is also a Poet has ever wanted before his shift to his most compatible and favourite genre “Electro/EDM” which he infuses with Hip Hop. Most notably on the project is the song that is continuing with its commercial success “It doesn’t matter” which features Micah Da Music’s friend and frequent collaborator Mosh Kay, the song has recently reached 20 000+ streams/plays on Spotify & Apple music.

Room For Improvement drops on the 28th of April.
Room for Improvement has 10 tracks in total, the introduction is Micah Da Music’s Poetry freestyle about this project, this makes Room For Improvement to be one of the few in the whole of South Africa that features freestyle poetry and arguably the only mixtape that has poetry freestyle in which the main artist is the Poet. The outro is also poetry freestyle on this project.
Micah Da Music’s Room For Improvement has almost half of its songs with the production from Cokayn who produced Outta My League, Setbacks and It doesn’t matter. It features works of producers Trojan who produced Blessings and the late Ghanaian producer Cyferbeatz who produced Bokoo, a hit song that features Ghanaian rising star ThiagoBeezy.
