A versatile creative artist on the rise – Thulani Mushwana (mostly known as laniiduzit) – coming all the way from Tzaneen in Limpopo, the rapper is introducing his style of rap to the whole country. Laniiduzit’s passion for rap music developed at a very young age, getting his inspiration from artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay Z and Kendrick. The rapper announced his presence in the music industry in 2015, with a debut mixtape entitled “ordinary day” which had some dope hits. His unique pattern of rapping is what makes him standout.
2018 became a stepping stone for Laniiduzit’s career, he released an EP titled “self”, which inspired him to launch his own clothing brand called ‘SELF‘. The brand later spurned a collaboration with an international brand called THE SUPERIORS, to create the line SUPERIOR-SELF. Both the brand and the EP made a huge impact in the streets, one of the most talked about projects in Johannesburg. The EP had successful tracks like “verse” and “link in my bio” that garnered laniiduzit some recognition on the streets of Johannesburg. After collaborating with afro artist Dr ZOONIE on the song “forever”, he then dropped a single entitled “swill yini”, which has been making waves, receiving great reviews from blogs across the country.
